I'm not selling anything nor do I have anything to sell, but I do have a question about LLLL.com's. Do all four letter .com's go for at the very least $60 right now. Is this true or not true. Thanks!
The minimum price did reach about $35-$40 a while back, but then has slipped back to $2x
What quality domains was it for $48 each? If it was a domain like xywq.com, then $48 would have been too much. Although if it was something like JDQK.com, then $48 would have been a decent enough price IMHO.
However please note that, despite the price falls, there's no major rush to go out and sell - this will only make the price fall further (if everyone tried selling out). The main thing is not to worry, because LLLL.com domains are a good investment IMHO

Min wholesale is about $22-$23 at present. That price is generally reserved for something absolutely ghastly that's likely expiring during the mass renewal timeframe (Aug-Nov 08).
I would really recommend against selling LLLL.coms at present -- especially the low end unless necessary. Market should more than have recovered by January 2009. Like most of the domain name market, LLLL.coms aren't doing particularly well at present. If you were planning on selling before 2009, I would recommend doing it now. They hold enormous long term potential and I hope anyone who does sell keeps at least a few.
Should be some good buys over the next few months -- keep your eyes peeled
I'll look forward to picking up some nice LLLL.coms that people drop or sell for cheap. I just recently started investing in LLLL.coms and as negative as this sounds I'm glad prices have dropped so that I can pick up some decent ones. I picked up my first triple premium LLLL.com a couple weeks ago for $30 and another a few days ago for $36... So as far as I'm concerned, keep the prices falling so I can build a nice portfolio! Then it would be nice if the prices would go up so I could see a nice ROI. I'm investing for long-term.
Not sure why people are selling when there is life left with the domain names. If they hold off for another year or so, it will definitely worth more. I am working on throwing a page or two contents on my domain names and hoping to sell them for much higher later. Also aged domain names will worth more later.
I would suggest the OP take a good look at sales data and be wary that some of the "viewpoints" at the moment are from people actively looking to sell these names (check the sigs )
Actually I have far more, LLLL.com's where they came from, I am almost continually selling domain names in my signature on ebay.com, whether it be LLLL.com, 5 Letter.com's or Key Word.com's
The thing is I don't have any low end bottom of the barrel LLLL.com, My LLLL.com's are of the higher quality variety and my prices reflect that. So really bottom of the barrel variety LLLL.com's are something I do not deal in, nor have vested interest in. Quality is what I am about
Almost every thread you've started at Namepros has been for selling LLL.coms, none are for selling LLLL.coms. Thus, one might assume that your viewpoints may be skewed towards LLL.coms. Further, the fact that your putting RareDN down in Italian Dragon's thread for his optimism towards LLLL.coms, shows you may be skewed against LLLL.coms.
Is it a coincidence that in this thread, you posted that LLLL.coms are selling for as low as $15. Personally, I have not seen one sell for $15 since December. So, I have to trust you at your word that you have, however, just a few days ago you posted in a different thread to someone, "......these names have been steadily falling from a peak of around $60 for the worst combo's to around $25 today." Now I am wondering, did the price suddently go from $25 to $15 to dissuade the poster away from LLLL.coms?
Hardly, I've been selling these names because I think they are badly overpriced at current levels. I have stated this quite a few times lately.
Over the weekened, bqb.com had a sale of 13 llll.com which closed at $205 ($15.70 average) and the lot of 4200 names on ebay had a high bid of $62,000. So yes I think the market has fallen quite a bit in the last few days.
The market certainly has fallen quite a bit. I respect people's privacy and won't give out names but I will mention that at least 75% of the active members in this section are members on BQB, so that sale can't be blamed on the marketplace.
Prices are continuing to go down, mainly on the low end. Snap has been seeing multiple fresh registrations sell for under $25 which leads me to believe the minimum wholesale is most certainly not above $20 at present (if selling individually). While I do think the rate these went for on BQB may be a bit low, it's nothing out of the ordinary and I doubt this lot would have fetch more than $18-$20 per if auctioned on Namepros.
hmmmm ... I've been a fan of low-end LLLL.com for a while, and was happy to buy many for less than $15 in December - and very pleasantly surprised to be able to sell quite a few at $30 in January and $40+ in February - and really wasn't thrilled to read posts by snoop predicting prices going back down to $15 in the near future while I was predicting minimum prices going up to $200 by this January ... but facts are facts, and whether or not minimum wholesale is "exactly" $15 now, it certainly seems to be a lot closer to $15 than $200 at this point.
Like it or not, should acknowledge snoop's prediction, and maybe think a bit about the reasoning behind it.
While I'm still very much looking forward to prices going "up up and away" in the long run, still have to recognize that the market's going to move however supply and demand and available cash dictate in the short term.
(And to other LLLL.com fans - well, hey, "we weren't wrong, just early ..." )
Have you still got many uber anti prem's left Filter, XZVQ.com types? I remember you spent quite some time scouring for the ultimate uber anti premiums, hoping from forum to forum, marketplace to marketplace in search of the anti holy grail
