Out of curiosity I went through all the L.com and these are the only ones that work:
X.com - PayPal Labs
Q.com - redirects to Qwest.com
Z.com - redirects to official Nissan Z site
The rest are on hold with the registrar listed as "RESERVED-INTERNET ASSIGNED NUMBERS AUTHORITY" .
What's the story with these? I'm guessing they were once available to register and now they want to collect them all for themselves. So why would the other 21 owners give up their L.com domains that are i'd guess worth several million $ each, hell maybe 10's of millions each? Or is it involuntary, like not allowing them to be renewed? That would be pretty sleazy...

| Apparently when the internet and domains were created they were reserved because they thought eventually all something.com's would run out and they'd need somethings.a.com and somethings.b.com etc.
Anybody verify that? | |

| As far as my understanding goes L.com were available at some point in time. Then L.com then were made unavailable to register as they dropped. However, the ones that actively use and renew their L.com are grandfathered. | |
