![]() ![]() | Maybe godaddy just doesn't handle 2 char domains, period. You can't register one there even if it's available.

![]() | i'm trying to transfer from enom to godaddy. I tried to transfer one last month and it worked just fine. In the matter of fact, you still can transfer 2 char domains .com and .net to godaddy. I contacted their cs, and they told me that based on registry's policy 2 chars domains cannot be transferred or register. They also say that each registry has its own policy for each registrar so if I can transfer it from another place to enom, it doesn't mean i can transfer it from another place to godaddy. This is weird.... |

![]() ![]() | Your whois for z3.org says: Sponsoring Registrar:R120-LROR Status:CLIENT DELETE PROHIBITED Status:CLIENT RENEW PROHIBITED Status:CLIENT TRANSFER PROHIBITED Status:CLIENT UPDATE PROHIBITED Is the name on lock? Did you lock it? Maybe the problem is with your current registrar? From GoDaddy's TOS: Section 2: Failed or Rejected Transfer Requests Go Daddy may elect to accept or reject your domain name transfer application for any reason at its sole discretion. Rejections may include, but are not limited to: The current Registrar rejected the transfer. The original registration took place less than sixty (60) days prior to the transfer request. The domain name has been placed in a locked status by either the Registry or by the losing registrar. The domain was transferred to Go Daddy less than sixty (60) days prior to the transfer request. The domain name expired but was not renewed. The domain name expired and was renewed during the forty-five (45) day grace period, and the forty-five (45) day grace period has not yet passed. The Domain Name Registrant was changed less than sixty (60) days prior to the transfer request. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/short-domain-discussion/23980-godaddy-cannot-transfer-2-characters-org.html Any pending bankruptcy of the current domain name holder. Any dispute over the identity of the domain name holder. Any situation described in the Dispute Policy. Transfer orders over thirty (30) days old. Oh, and one more thing I read in the fine print: All remaining two character domain names are belong to painperdu

![]() | I'm not trying to transfer z3.org... it transferred successfully to my godaddy account. That status is because I put that domain on lock the thing is godaddy rejects it because it is 2 letter .org, not because the status is lock or not because I have tried any two chars .org and all of them did not work. |
