Notice If you are going to sell links...

Don't advertise it on your site for goodness sakes!

All one of your competitors has to do is go to:
https://www.google.com/webmasters/to...ks?pli=1&hl=en

and say you are selling paid links on your site, and tell them where they saw it.

Once big G sees that, they will either penalize you or deindex you.

A nice reminder for everyone. Please be cautious on who you are selling your links to. You don't how that paid link will even affect that ranking in Google. Use adsense instead if you want to earn from your blog, its better to be safe than sorry.

I am not going to get into this, but smart webmasters know that google is NOT de-indexing sites or removing sites, or dropping page rank on sites, etc etc etc
FOR SELLING LINKS...

If you believe then what can I say?
You probably believe that a link on a .edu site is worth more than gold.

Continue on with your myths, hoaxes, and anti-business postings.

I have thought about selling links on my website or at least offering them. The problem I see is any offers I get would be completely unrelated to my niche and the keywords I am targeting, thereby throwing off a lot of my outbound link strategy. Further I believe I would get more value by posting affiliate or helpful links. Give people an incentive and why cap it at a monthly rate when you can influence an amount that could steadily increase?

I would love to do more research into Iwoadawgs point. I wonder why the page is up in the first place if they don't act on it. PM me if you would like on this one.

Most standard advertisement companies use either nofollow or javascript redirection to avoid this issue. I do not think Google is going to punish a website just for adding advertisements on it.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/search-engines/742901-if-you-are-going-sell-links.html

However, giving dofollow links by accepting money may damage our site ranking.

Google give more importance to natural links and if are caught buying and selling links then your website will be penalized and de ranked which can be a big problem for your business, recently Google has penalized a blog network buildmyrank and many other websites who have purchased links from this network, now buying any type of link will lead to unnatural link warning to your website.
