worth purchasing backlinks?? any recommended services?

I'm starting an online business, the business is aimed at baby shower gifts.

anyway my question is do you guys ever buy backlinks? are there any you guys would recommend as I know alot of the services out there are well not worth it.

Is there any services that offer backlinks that are related to your services? for example I have a baby shower gifts website so can I pay for gift related backlinks?

Any help would be great.

Have done alot of the social seo myself but god building backlinks takes a long time! well does for me anyway

What is google or any other SE will ban you for doing so? I think in that case that will be called money wasting.

Buying backlinks can land you in a world of trouble with the search engines. In fact, Google is really cracking down on link farms and anyone who associates with them.

Plus, backlinks that are bought are not as valuable to Google as the ones you build with quality content. After all, anyone can go buy a backlink; however, it takes some skill to create something that naturally attracts backlinks.

I don't think it is a good idea to buy backlinks.The thing that scores higher with google is original content and quality backlinks.If you purchase backlinks,it can't be termed "quality".So I think you better not do it.
