Help making a subdomain appear in searches?

Hi all,

I have a website at UAVpilot.org and I'd like the subdomain I have set up, jobs.uavpilot.org, to appear in the results list when people search "UAV jobs" through Google or Yahoo an the like.

How can I go about doing this?

The owner of uavs.biz was able to do this with his site and jobs.uavs.biz, and I'd like to do that as well.

Any help, so appreciated. Thanks!

Create the subdomain, post relevant content, submit it to Google. Search engines will find all indexable pages.

As you carry link building to the main site, apply the same to the sub-domain.

Hi

you can also get ranking for a url using this method

uavpilot.org/jobs.html

additionally this prevents typos of your subdomain, if it were to get popular as "jobs.uavpilot.org" in typo form as > "jobsuavpilot.org"
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/search-engines/669333-help-making-a-subdomain-appear-searches.html

if you still want to do a prefix subdomain then try to acquire that typo example first.

actually "jobsuavpilot.com" is available to reg at this exact moment.

Good Luck

imo...

Having a subdomain doesn’t decrease your chances of ranking on search engines. You’ll just have to treat each subdomain as a new, individual site. This means work on building PR and links. As with any domain, you don’t get a free ride. By the way, have you heard of Google's Host Crowding algorithm? Google Tweaks “Host Crowding” Algorithm To Reduce Results From Same Domain For Search
