old domain name bought. Could it be banned by google?

hi! i bought an old domain name pulage.com because of backlinks, it unrelated to my site but the backlinks amount to 10,000+ so i think if i buy that domain and redirect it to my primary domain perhaps the juice of those links will go to my primary domain..

but i just read some post that old domains might have been banned...

i tried this backlinks check in google but no result..

in yahoo... there are thousands of backlinks..

in bing. there are 3 results..

the old domain i bought was a formerly used in gaming website...
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/search-engines/663507-old-domain-name-bought-could-banned.html

could it have been banned by google because of zero results?

is my theory the juice of those backlinks passed to my primary domain?

Thank you....

Autism
It appears that google have taken away PR from expired or parked domains, i wouldn't say it was banned, but that's what happened to me, PR gone.

I have had a look at the domain and can confirm it appears you have the same thing occur as i did.

Give it three months.

Even if the previous owner was a total douchebag in how they used the domain, Google will eventually come around and re-evaluate.

I suspect this, too, is one of the upsides in Google nuking everything it has about a website when it is dropped. This way, you start fresh.

In a situation like this, I like to link in from a couple established sites I have just to give Google that extra little nudge.

Some things to check

First thing is to check at Google with the following in the search box.

infoulage.com

You'll notice nothing comes up. Might have been banned because of previous owner.

Another thing to check is traffic. If its got tons of links maybe you'll get some traffic. Move it to a parking company immediately and let it sit for one week. IF it gets traffic and the traffic is from certain countries you might make some decent cash. If you don't currently have a parkign account namedrive is easy to open up an account.

I got this using one of my banned website tools,

"Looking up Google for 'www.pulage.com'

No results found, attempting a different look-up...

The domain name has no PageRank value, it is LIKELY to be banned.

The domain name has no records with Google. It is either new or MAY BE banned.

You can contact Google and explain you are the new owner and ask them to reconsider their ban if this is the case, you might not get a response but would be worth a try. If you use archive.org you'll be able to see what the previous site was and a backlinks check will show what the quality and spammyness of the backlinks are.
