Hey guys,

Quick question.

I am currently creating a site - But I am using different scripts for different area's, so I will be having multipul sitemaps - Will this affect rankings in any way?

Thanks

Dan

Site structure and titles

It depends on various issues but just make sure that the sitemaps get indexed and link back to the main front page from all different areas.

Also depends on title descriptions and each individual page description. Make sure each page has some unique content (like Namepros threads when you see them in search results).

Hey Dan! Just want to ask why do you need to use different scripts for your site? Will it help the site in increasing its rankings?
(If that would help, then I will call my developer! )

I am one of them, don't got buy an Iphone just because it does everything, But a normal phone, a normal camera, a normal mp3 player as thats what they were designed for - they are generally better quality, and do what you want them to do - thats my logic any way :-)

You can connect your XML sitemaps with a sitemap index file. Either way though, your rankings won't be hurt!

I think that would be better to have each script on separated sub domain name and with separated sitemap.
