![]() ![]() | Some SEO findings concerning traffic and avg. time on site Hi everyone, I wanted to share with you some observations I have had about my SERP for Links.com. It seems like when there is an increase in percentage of visitors visiting a site coupled with greater average time on the site, Google will bump the SERP up. I have seen this happen on two of my keywords for Links.com. However, the effect wears away if the traffic begins to diminish in percentage terms relative to former traffic or if it begins to plateau. The trick to link building it seems is to get links that will drive relevant traffic that will stick to the site. Bad traffic apparently has detrimental effects. Rich |

![]() | thanks for the information. It is completely relevant as according to a recent report by Google google can distinguish between relevant traffic and non genuine traffic. some how getting quality traffic through backlinks seems appropriate at this point of time.
