When is the next Google Page Rank update. I hear many talking about it taking place at the end of march.

Only Google knows. Some time it updates within 3-4 months.

I don't bother with it anymore. PR 0 is fine with me. Just as long as it's not N/A.

The timeline is correct if you look at past practice of Google. You're looking at more than likely mid April. However my advice would be to continue to work on your serps and not be so concerned with PR unless you're trying to sell your website. We're all looking for more traffic and SERPS is the way to go and not PR.

As long as you get traffic, there is no need to concentrate on Page Rank.

Depending..

Most users that are not familiar with the internet industry assume that PR means everything, and it can be critical to selling a site.

PR is not my main focus anymore when it comes to SEO. Its all about the URLS, using proper coding standards and putting content in the correct position.

This is not to say that PR is not important, as it is.. It can determine a lot when it comes to your sites position in Google.

I think end of march for beginning of april.
But it actually doesn`t matter a lot...because the PR doesn`t affect the keyword rankings

As noted its every three or four months so sometime soon-ise. I'd say PR is important to foolks when you are trying to exchange links with some folks.

The latest Google PR has been updating now. One of my parked site got PR=3 homepage with PR=2 on other pages. It only 1,5 month age.

I think SEO update already happened.. thats at the end of March or first week of April (that's still now).

One website ( a forum site) just declared that their page rank climb now and that they are very happy and giving away one way backlink..hehehe

PageRank is not transferable.The backlinks and PageRank earned by the root blog belong to the root blog URL.The new domain URL starts from zero just as raincoaster said.I am pretty sure they look at the page rank of the domain,I use seoquake for my toolbar for firefox and it shows me the page rank of each site I go to plus a whole lot more.
