PR update in process

Google PR update is in progress.

One of my site went to PR 3 from PR 2.

Some are still same some are moving up.

Share your thoughts here.

got one PR3 smashed down to PR1, usually this will be goin up and down for couple days before become permanent.

I find it makes a quick way to judge the probable quality of a website; either to decide if you could beat it, or if it's worth looking at. That said, the update sure used to cause more of an uproar. I think I see why WordPress is such a popular platform. I put up a few WP sites with the Thesis theme and it seems like they are doing better than I would have expected.

Google updated the PR on New Year's first day

For me, PR of just few internal pages got changed.

I got PR3 to PR1 on one of my sites. You loose the PR when parking.

it sucks i worked sometime on it.

You lose PR when you lose backlinks (or get deindexed).
You might lose backlinks when people see a packed page (they remove the backlink from their site)

I have some PR4 parked pages (dropped domains-old backlinks) that are over one year old so the parking itself does not mean you'll lose PR.

Yes as expected PR finally updated once again on 31st Dec and I have good updates as I got 2 PR4 from PR0 while 5 PR2 Site goes to PR3 and one PR1 Goes to PR5. While 3 of PR4 Blog drop to PR3 but overall good updates for me!

Is it just me? but I did not get any changes on my web sites PRs
I hope google is doing their P Rankings since I spent a lot of money for my link building projects...
I really wanna see if that was worth it....

The past 2 PR updates, I took beatdowns on almost all of my domains..
--still tryin to figure out what I did wrong-- lol

but this one was a little nicer too me..

I think every so often they drop everyone down (Raise their standards) as a way to preserve scarcity of top ranking sites.
