Search engine DE-Optimization needed

I have bad publicity and google has almost put it up sooo high in ranking. Anyone know how to push it down a little. They haven't optimized whatsoever. I know how to optimize. But ow to un/de optimized???

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Are you wanting to do this to the site that is talking negative ?

You would be better off doing some basic online reputation management techniques which is :

Make some sites off of free sites like wordpress.com , blogger ect.

Optimize those with the same keywords that bring up the negative results. Then bookmark those pages on some of the social bookmark sites.

You can also do this with sites that offer you to make a profile and then leave a link such as :

Hyves.net - Always in touch with your friends Page Rank 7
WSIS Community Page Rank 7
The Naked Scientists Science Discussion, Question & Answer Forum Page Rank 7
Find Recipes, Appetizers, Desserts, Holiday Recipes & Healthy Cooking Tips, | Taste Of Home Page Rank 7
Comedy Central Official Site - Your Source for Comedians, Funny Video, TV Shows, Games, Jokes, & Ringtones | Comedy Central Page Rank 7
MovieWeb - Showtimes, Previews, Trailers, News, DVD, TV and More! Page Rank 6

chances are that you will just have to outrank them. you can push them to the second page if you manage to get 10 urls above theirs. if they aren't doing any seo then it shouldn't be that hard, although it could be time-consuming.

also, maybe you should work on fixing the source of the bad publicity. make apologies and amends.

I think you cannot de optimized someone else's site

You can however try to rank some other site/page that belongs to you, higher than that negative info site/page.
