How do you improve google suggest ?

i have a client who's company reputation is being ruined because of google suggest feature. suggest works based on people searched keywords, so basically if competitors want to ruin somebody's business they can just go and search bunch trashy things using that company name with it, right? like "company name"+ "scam" for example. So how company can improve this or solve this problem?

Two things.

I'd fire off an email to;

labs+suggest@google.com

Tell them whats up. In theory someone could hire bunch of people to plug in a bunch of search terms and it would harm your rep. I'd be interested to see what the G folks say to you.

If you search for "Company Name" plus "Scam", then do some negative pages come up in SERPs?

I think that even if someone searches for such keywords, things can be ok, if SERPs have all positive things about that company.
