   | SEO strategies and hosting Anyone know something about seo and hosting issues. Does hosting are important for seo strategy? Asking for this because I chosen to buy Host1Plus hosting and now read about this seo and hosting thing, so want to know more. |

But if you are targeting any specific region, then having a hosting which is based in that region will help your site to rank better for localized searches. However, there is no guarantee that choosing a host for localized searched will always help.

      | If you plan on linking multiple sites of yours to each other, make sure they are all on different c blocks. If you're not on a dedicated server, you might want to make sure someone else hasn't been spamming or anything like that and gotten your server blacklisted. Don't worry about location -- you can change that in your google webmaster account. Make sure the hosting you get doesn't load pages so slowly that bots won't crawl your site properly. I'm not sure what plan you were getting however I would highly recommend staying away from the $3 per month one. There's no such thing as unlimited bandwidth and unlimited disk space -- otherwise big companies like Google and Microsoft would get hosted there to save money, so that's a pretty good indicator that you're at the very least dealing with someone who's dishonest.

| There is a connection between Hosting and SEO..of course a good hosting company will ensure that your site is running all the time..is available when bots crawl..will allocate you a dedicated IP address and will offer you loads of options so that you can properly optimize your website with correct scripts. databases, CMSes etc. Some of them also provide SEO consultancy for their clients.

       | Reliability is also a key factor for both SEO and general purposes. You don't want Google bots attempting to scan your site and finding that it is down and they are unable to. While you don't want to lose visitors for the same reason either.
