WordPress vs. "Regular" Sites...SEO

Hello,

Maybe I am worried for no reason but would like some input.

I am developing many sites with appropriate Wordpress themes for most of my domains and linking appropriate wordpress sites. No real crazy linking, but 10-20 sites, all with different categories.

Also, all original content for each category, anywhere from 1-5K words.

Example:

ElectricCarPictures
ElectricCarVideos
ElectricYachts
ElectricPickupTrucks
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/search-engines/591173-wordpress-vs-regular-sites-search-engine.html
ElectricCarInsurance
etc etc.

QUESTIONS:

1) Will WordPress hurt or help me? I am using a seo plug-in. Of course, I would like top space on serps , is that achievable with WordPress? (1st time user of wordpress, usually use other software.)

2) Anything else I should be aware of?

Thanks for your time.
Paul

Ranking in search engines mainly depends on the quality of the content that you add in your site. A site can use wordpress or any other platform: that site can rank as high as any other site if it have great content and quality backlinks.

But wordpress is preferable as it is easy to manage our sites. Plus it gives us many many options. You can add a new page with just few clicks. It manages all our comments and take care of spam comments.

Wordpress is a great CMS. It helps in easy maintenance of your site and has tons of plugins. Everything for free.

All this will aid your content. Basically you should have some good content and Wordpress is the way to go.

Wordpress will do more good than bad so long as your sites provide value to the visitor. Don't worry.

WordPress is great for SEO and is as good or possibly better than many other ways of building your site. As long as you build unique, relevant content and then build quality, relevant backlinks there is no reason why you shouldn't do well in the SE rankings (as long as it isn't too competitive of an area you're chasing).

If you are providing quality content then it doesn't matter which platform you are using.
No doubt Wordpress is a search engine friendly CMS.

I also use All In One SEO plugin to avoid duplicate meta tags and some other errors that may hurts our SERP value.

As most of your sites are related, you should take utmost care for getting unique content. Use copyscape.

it's achievable in wordpress, but it's not the seo tools that are being used but the user who will make the difference. you can have a good cms like wordpress and a good seo plugin, and still do a horrendous seo job.
