How do you stay at the top of G00gle serps

I have come to the conclusion that the only way to stay at the top of g00gle serps is to play their game ie. PAY for the privelige in one way or another. Anyone agree or disagree ?

But then if you don't play their game SEO wise then also you can get on the top of the page it is just a bit longer journey to the top.

In order to stay in top search results, we need to have some solid, relevant and if possible, natural links. Off course, getting natural links depends on the quality of content that we have on our websites.

You don't have stable rankings on SERP.. If you want to stay on top, you have to continue building links.. Quality of back links I should say..

I know a person who worked for a company and he make out to that company to come in first search in google in this journey took him 6months! But unluckily google refreshed or what happened few days later all his work got wasted. I prefer to take privilege and go with formal method. But SEO method is also good but no assurity that when site drops down and takes lot of time and hardwork to come up.

Not at all if you're that good. Although if you'll pay a good SE Optimizer, then that's where costing will fall down.
Honestly, top SEO's need not to invest a penny, just pure time and good strategies.

But my personal believe is that Traffic counts a lot taking any kind of site to highest rank in search. You should be having useful and unique content so that people visit your site a lot!

All this game moves around good SEO. The more and good backlinks you've the better rank you get. Content is also important along with some other factors like, how much professional looking site you have.

Content is king BUT getting new backlinks from new sources helps (spread out the IP sources). In centent on topic backlinks can really help kick some butt BUT it helps even more if they stick around (ie backlinks do not get disappear/removed).
