Index in Google.com and Google.co.uk

hi

i was wondering if its possible toget indexed in both google.com and google.co.uk ?

i asked because i got a domain which is .com but target uk business.

it is very well indexed in google.com but not in google.co.uk at all.
although business from search engine is fine as when i asked people where they learned from us most usually replied from google , i really don't know how to get it indexed in google.co.uk as the business is fully for uk only.

a friend said i must try get it hosted on uk based host company instead of .us based (don't know if he is right tho)

also i was thinking if i try register the .co.uk of the .com and get it index in google and forward it to the .com will that help or just a waste ?

any suggestion or help will be very appreciated.
thx

yes it's possible to get indexed in both google.com and google.co.uk.

getting hosting from a uk host should help a bit, as well as backlinks from other uk websites, and mentioning uk on your website, etc. getting the .co.uk would help too, except that if you do, you should redirect the .com to .co.uk, not the other way around.

Maybe this might help

Hi there

I can see what you're trying to achieve. I got listed in well in both Google.com and Google.co.uk, even though I live in New Zealand with my .com website. I changed my web hosting in NZ, to the NZ arm of a UK hosting company, and unexpectedly found my site ranks well in Google UK, but not Google NZ. since I'm marketing international software, I'm definately not complaining.

Cheers Paul
