I would go with the first one I normally do not go deeper than three folders / subdomains.

I read somewhere that Google treats subdomains as subdirectories; what that means is that if you use car.market.adulu.com you are going three levels deep, if you use carmarket.adulu.com it is two levels deep only which should be better. But I have to agree that cars.adulu.com or car.adulu.com are better even if they don't have the market in them, it will also be easier for your potential visitors to remember.

car.market is not an option when you can have other two.
