forum archive or not?
I noticed that namepros.com does not move the old thread/post to vbulletin's archive. I have a forum
http://trik.com/forum , a lot of the posts are moved into the archive section. Is archive a good idea or not?

my

I think too much percentage of the posts went archive. Am I

That depends on the settings you put from admin panel.
If activity is much and if you think those threads are old enough then you can set a threshold accordingly.

the reason I am asking is that after I have done a 301 redirect to my old domain
http://ijfg.com which had a PR3 to
http://trik.com/forum , the PR is zero now. The only thing I thought might caused the PR change is due to the archive. Do you think archiving file may cause a PR3 site to PR0?
thanks.

No
I don't think it might have caused it. But it is just my opinion not something that is hard fact.
