SEO verses PPC

Based on your previous experience, have you has better results with natural search engine results or from using PPC programs like adwords, YSM etc.?
I have personally had better results with SEO and have managed to get a steady stream of 6,000 unique visits per day. I have alot of experience with over 10 different PPC programs and I may someday go back to them when I have found a really high converting website.

Well, you sure get around on the same thread posts don't you

Like I said on SitePoint, PPC is only good for websites trying to selling a service or a product, so you get a return on your investment. SEO is still a great method for the same type of web sites considering organic traffic is free.

SEM and SEO are things which supplement each other.

The difference between the two of them is Efforts, SEO want more efforts (results in long time and stability) than having instant traffic and leads by sponsor listing.
I use PPC for quick traffic but mostly use SEO.

I would suggest that you study your target audience first. At times a PPC could harm your potential and at times a search engine marketing may not bring the desired result for your business or website.

There are several reports out there that indicate the combination is the best way to go. Also, given the decrease in CTR for the sponsored section within google, you'll see the importance (and press) towards SEO to the masses.

i also agree with a combination of both.

pay per click is good for the short-term and search engine optimization is good for the long-term.
