there is no need of PR if you like to add advertisement, its all about visitors in your site, if you have good volume of traffic then you get more money, if no visitors then there is no money in advertising....

Otherwise you can sell links, in your site, there are lots of peoples buying PR4 links for $2 or more per month, try it...

To sell a link on the basis of PR you will need good PR.
To sell a link on the basis of the traffic you don't need to worry about the PR.

Thanks.

I would recommend to let people to know if you do have no or little traffic, to say assume no traffic in the link sales query. Anything like 1k+ of traffic is considered reasonable. Some would say 500.

Others buy PR links to build up their PR. You need so many links to make a certain PR 1, PR2 etc.

You can sell both text and banner ads on your sites. People really like banner space as well.

PR 3 and 4 use to go between $5 to $10 a month. But lately the prices seem to differ on the site owner.

And I do know that many say it is a faux pa to list your PR site in a sales thread. Many say that Google frowns on this and is not a natural link. So if you were to start a sales thread just say....

PR2 and PR4 link sales. Pm for URL. And than state price for each PR and what theme of each site are. General getting related links to yours is better to have.

I have seen many do this and do it quite often myself.

One More question. Since I have found this thread very usefull. On my hosting account i have 5 websites. Three main ones that i would sell on. Two are just personal ones and for soemone else.

I use avstats. How can i break down the figures i get each month so i know specific domains.

I saw a google one. But is that really good?

Thanks again this is very useful in the future as i continue to build my sites.

Yes Google Analytics is great. On the other hand the hosting/server I have has awstats. I have one PR4 on the Google Analytics and they say the vistor ratio is poor. Yet when I check on my awstats and PPC they say otherwise. My PPC company requires 50% of my traffic to come from the US. I have been with this PPC for 9 months and they keep saying I have traffic and mostly from the US. SO I am not sure how accurate Google analytics is. And yes my awstats prove the PPC to be correct as well.

In my awstats, they tell me month to month, in fact day by day, and hour by hour how many visitors and uniques stop by. And how long they stay, like betwenn 1 - 5 minutes to 30 - 60 minutes. The Cpanel is real great to use.
