Best Directories?

I'm doing some updating and I'm looking for your input on the 5-10 best directories out there.

Is DMOZ still not accepting new sites? Last I heard it had been down for a 6-8 weeks.

Don't worry, I promise to keep you guys updated about what's going on at the ODP. One thing I can assure you is that the ability to submit sites will be available to you guys again. What I can't tell you though is when this will happen. You are unable to submit sites at this time because the editors are unable to review new submissions at this time and there is still some data recovery taking place. Once editors are able to start reviewing and adding sites again then the submission form will be able to be used again. The editor server is only accessable at this time to a limited amount of editors such as meta editors and what not. They are testing things and making sure all the bugs are worked out and all before they make it open for all the editors to start editing again. Just hang in there a little longer. Again I can't promise you guys a time frame but based on my opinion of the situation, I would expect all editors to be editing again by next week or the week after. I will try to keep you guys informed.

DMOZ is NOT dead, and will be back in a few weeks, I'm guessing about Jan 1 bigger and better then ever.

I'm still waiting till i get approved. i heard that DMOZ is back again. it may take upto 1 year to get your site reviewed and listed.

Don't forget to read the rules first.

Please don't put your own directories here. And if you really own a best directory then you have to shows some stats which proves you have one of the best directories.

Thanks. All other efforts towards advertising your directory and branding them as best directories will be edited.
