when adding you site to google, do you just

1. add your domain name like http://www,123,com

or

2 do you add your server directory like http://www,myserver.com/webspace

Just add http://www.something.com and the GoogleBot will find everything else.

Ya, all you need to type is what your visitors would type to get to your website, so for example: http://www.mywebsite.com

just get a link from a high pr site..you just dont need to submit..

Google takes quite a while to get on. I would recommend Yahoo! (it took me 1 full day) and Ask Jeeves. Submit to Google but that will take probably a month. If you post to other sites at least you will get some searches

Agreed with Bentong, adding a link to a Pr site the spider will add your url in few weeks.
And also you will get some extra pr from the referal site
