   | hope this is Howdy, hope this is in the right forum. My experience has been mostly the dark side (M$), so used to N++ (aka notepad), visual studio somewhat. Looking to learn the light side of the force. Tried emacs for about 10 minutes (no offense), gvim for a while but didn't click. Looking for all purpose editor, run on windows, code highlighting, maybe even db command shell (using PL/SQL Dev for Oracle projects now). Any suggestions? Saw some posts for HTML editors (surprised N++ led the way), but interested in something more flexible that can handle php, javascript, etc. |
