My footer won't reach the bottom of the page in Firefox!!

I am having problems getting my footer to stick to the bottom of the page in Firefox.

If you go to www.rednerve.com in Internet Explorer, the bit at the bottom of the page (with the blue gradient background) is aligned to the bottom of the page.

But, go to www.rednerve.com in Firefox and it isn't. This is a problem as around 27% of visitors to the site are using Firefox. How can I solve it?
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/programming/84372-my-footer-wont-reach-bottom-page.html

I have an external stylesheet and to give the table a background and have the site remain XHTML compliant, I used a class for the table and tried giving the table the property:

Code:
vertical-align:bottom;
But it didn't work. Any more ideas?

Also, in 1024 x 768, you can only just see that it doesn't align, but in 1280 x 1024 it is very clear.

'Height' does not work the same as 'Width', because you can't use percentages with 'height'. In other words it's impossible to get any browser to display a footer exactly at the bottom of the browser (unless you use a fixed height with a specific resolution in a specific browser with the same size toolbars).

For me in IE it's impossible to make the footer even appear (My res is 1280X960), unless I actually scroll down.
