Question IPB Integration Help!

Hi,

I've tried searching a lot for this, but couldn't find a response.

I'm trying to integrate Invision Power Board v2.03 into my exisitng webpage. Basically, I already have the outside part, and just want to call the IPB forum to always stay within the exisiting custom layout. I saw IPB SDK, but that's NOT what I'm looking for; since that separates functions, all I want is to keep everything as is, and just put my own custom header/footer to wrap ipb within my existing site layout. I do NOT want to deal with the skins either, as that would cause a lot of hard coding. Just basically a php include would do.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!
Anand

okay, just to update for those of you looking for the same thing:

We sucessfully integrated (see it at http://forums.polurnet.com) the forum into our general look and feel. Although quite difficult to do, the end result is pretty nice Use the IPB Include Hack to have the functionality and edit the rest of the include pages

Thanks Actually, the html that is coded for is different that the beta site, since IPB interprets the html differently than usual for some reason. That's why some elements look spaced out on the sidebar, as it doesn't want to stick together when called by the IPB include.

If you can think of a fix for that, maybe i'll still need your help Do you have another method of integrating the php code into IPB?

Thanks Ravi, I'll work on them. Yeah the header will be stretched instead of using a color background, and that will also be the same found on our beta version site (many ppl commented on the same thing )

The copyright was not showing due to my mistake in not closing some html tags, which caused some problems. Now it shows again as it was supposed to, with the Licensed To field.

Thanks for the heads up
