You can try www.hotscripts.com but I don't think you'll find exactly what you want so you'll either have to learn some php or hire a programmer. If you need more help with this drop me a PM.

What you need will depend upon what she has in mind by "instant quote".

If she really means instant, as in soon as a button is pressed, then some sort of algorthym to determine the quote from a few user entered data would need to be designed and developed.

If she means that she will figure out the quote herself and email it to the user then a simple email web form or db backed CMS will do.

I think this needs to be clarified with her.

well i believe it will be more like someone fills out a form and then she gets back to them or at least i hope. i live in upstate ny, and a friend of mine down in ct that sells sites for me is dealing with her. if she does want just a multi step form process then she does it her sell, what is the best way of going about this?? thank you.

Fairly simple to do.

It's just a matter of building an HTML form and processing it with PHP (or some other scripting language). Unless the client wants an extremely feature laden application, a database isn't even needed. Everything is collected via the form, processed with PHP, and sent to the insurance rep by email.

Check at hotscrips.com:
http://hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_an...ors/index.html

Or one of us can do it fairly cheap.

do you have any recommendations on which script to use? i've looked at allibtsus mail pro php, form processor pro, phpforms, etc. they all look very good and easy to use. like the fact of multiple pages in which i will need. but are they any free but just as good and secure as these scripts. i don't mind paying the 30 dollars average for these programs, but i would like to use them for other sites as well instead of just one. how can they tell anyway? j/w. also how would i do it to have instant qoute? how would i go about this if she deciedes she wants this? first site that will have extensive programming. so sry for all the somewhat newbie questions.
