I have a question about setting up an email system in Direct Admin using hmailserver software (its a free software).

What is the first few steps of setting up email system?

How long will it take?

Note: I am not a programmer, I do have someone looking at this, its been 4 days, it doens't look like the guy knows what he is doing.

So I am asking for second opìnion on someone who knows.

Look your not a developer don't tell me how to do my job as I said hmailserver is an exe you cannot I repeat cannot install an exe file on your website it is impossible.

Yes it takes days because I have other customers and you kept saying put hmailserver on the website which is impossible.
Look at my sig 78 of my own then all my customers.
Don't worry I will have the mailing system set up so that it will work with an irc mailing client such as hmailserver tough the hmailserver will have to be on your computer as it cannot be put on a website

DirectAdmin runs on Linux(Debian/Redhat)
hmailserver runs on Windows

Can you describe in more words what you are trying to do - you are missing important details.

For example:
Do you have admin control of a server? If yes, what OS is it running?
Or
Do you have a hosting account? If so, have you tried their help/support.

It's unclear from the comments. Are you looking to setup a mail system (server AND client) or setting up a client only that works with an existing server. Are you setting these up on different machines?

Just say in full what you want to do. Maybe even why because it may be that you are trying to pull off far more than you need.

He can't install the exe its not windows hosting I will make it work with it if he ever replies to my message I honestly really couldn't care I have people who have paid upfront hense hes long down the list he'll have to be patient and get over it.

If it is on a linux server, why even bother. There are tonnes of alternatives that are linux based?

I do I even have tons of other stuff.
I can do it if you wait your turn.You might get away skipping the que in mcondalds but not in my company.Your not the only person who wants a website.
