heyy guys Im trying to block a few country's so I found this site to block countrys so it generates a list of ips to block so I uploaded the txt file to my server and renamed it .htaccess I also upload a black .htaccess file and I still get the error, im also useing a mac computer so maybe the txt file is not correct? and this is the error I got...
any help would be great guys, i have been trying to work this out for 3 days now and im a bit of a noob.

I also did contact my host and this is the error report I got from him

I am getting the following error from the Apache error log when I enabled the .htaccess file for the domain 'msproxy.net'.

From the above error message, it is clear that there is a syntax error in the .htaccess file. Can you please double check whether you have added all the IP address properly in .htaccess file. Please check and let us know.

I ended up fixing it by uploading the htacces.txt then going to file manager and copy and past the code over the code that is already there, then I went to my ftp client and renamed the file to .htacces.
