Need a script to insert referral code into user submitted links

Such as is used at SlickDeals , I've got a few sites where users submit links , and I'd like to be able to use a script addition that on every link out (Using linkout.php now for tracking, see current example of script at http://www.hostinggap.com/linkout/ and I want to modify that script or add a whole new one).

I'm no PHP or CGI expert, but I know a little bit so if you have suggestions or would be willing to do it for me in exchange for some other good or service, let me know please.

For instance, go to www.slickdeals.net and the forums. Under the "hot deals" section, look for any user post that includes a link to an item from amazon. Click on the link, the referral code for slickdeals is automatically included (You can see it in the URL after you click, not before, make sense?). It's not just a status bar hack, but a URL include somehow.

Oh ok so you need a php script to check your database for a link and go to it?
