| NamePros Member | PHP MySQL secure downloads? Hey guys, in the future I'll be doing a website for a consultant. On the website there will need to be a limited acess section - A place where his clients can get any materials (word documents) from their meetings. It's very important that they be secure, so the clients are unable to acess eachothers files and they won't be acessable for anyone else. Can someone perhaps point me in the right direction of how I should be doing this, I mean would a script that uploads the file to a directory consisting of very long random numbers and digits combined with a session-based download do the trick? Or is there something else I should be looking at. Thanks |
