Suggest a project

ok, well im bored just started college and nothing to do. I really want to start a cool PHP project. Though im stuck for ideas. This is your chance to get something coded for free.

The only idea I currently have is a freelance management system, Though I have seen some on the net. I may still do this maybe open source it.

Do something you find you yourself wanting because you'll get into the project more. See if you're college needs anything doing, nice GUI's to existing things are always nice to have, something to control and browse CVS/Subversion from a PHP script would be nice (haven't checked if it exists yet).

how about creating some sort of project management / work-flow script. it would basically manage tasks that are done concurrently so everything moves efficiently and gets done in the right order, etc.
