| NamePros Regular | Merging multiple domain stats programs Hi, Let us assume someone has say 100s of small websites running on their server and each one runs its own AWstats. Can someone possibly write a program to analyze all the awstats files and do a daily report showing the same details already in the awstats report but combined for all the websites merged into one large report? |

| Senior Member | Get google analytics and put the same code on all the sites. You get different referrers for different sites, so it should work. You get total visits correctly since it should add them all together. Plus, Google ftw.

| NamePros Regular | hmmmm....interesting idea. Only using Analytics on 1 site now. Would it show the stats for all in 1 report but attributable to each domain/site? Also, what does Google ftw mean? thanks. Quote:

| Senior Member | google ftw = google for the win, just some nerd speak lol. i haven't exactly used analytics on multiple sites, but i think that it will record the visitors and stuff as one report, but to get individual domain/site visitors from that you'd have to look at the pages visited or referrers (since those would vary by site). it's worth a try, and it shouldn't be too difficult to test. just put the same code that you already have generated into your other websites.
