Is it possible to prevent a site from analyzing my pages for competitive SEO?

I wasn't really sure which forum to ask this in, but I figure you guys would know the most. I have a few websites that I have worked extremely hard on, put a lot of time into with content, building links, ect.... and have garnered the 1st spot in yahoo for three of these sites in the keywords I wanted. Since gaining these coveted #1 spots, I have noticed about 5-10 hits a day on these sites originating from two or three websites that analyze my pages for keyword placement, content, ect. I figure these are competitors trying to figure out what they need to do in order to get my spot. Now, is there any way that I can specifically block these sites from analyzing or accessing my domains? I really don't know a whole lot about scripting and/or programming.... Just html, css, and very basic php and xml. Any help would be appreciated.

try using the robots.txt file. i know if theyre competitors' bots, they may not adhere to those rules, but its always worth a shot. however, make sure you whitelist google and yahoo, definitely.

If they can view it they can analyze it and you can't stop them unless you have content behind a registration/login system.
