I have a C assignment and this is what it reads:

Find the average of the maximum and minimum as an integer value where any fractional part is discarded. Find and print at the screen the number of integers read in that are greater than or equal to this average, and the number of values read in that are less than this average. - What does "Subscripted array" mean?
- What does it mean when it says : "fractional part is discraded"
