.mobi dial number code?

does anyone know if there is code that can make a mobi phone dial a telephone number when the user clicks on it?

if not it seems like this is something that should eventually be implemented...

noob seeking help here... thanks.

There's two different ways you can do this. It's pretty easy. They're just ordinary links with a weird protocol that most phones should read as "dial the number".

<a href="wtai://wp/mc;5555555">Call 555-5555</a>

Code:

<a href="tel:5555555">Call 555-5555</a>

Of course, replace 5555555 with your telephone number and country code, area code.
