| First Time Poster! | Hey all, This is my first post here so not quite sure how it works. I've started working on some batch files to automate weekly server reboots. someone from another group i work with had some pre-existing code and sent it my way can anyone identify what the person was trying to do here. I can't ask as they are no longer here Their Code: Shutdown /l /r /t:300 "On Call Reboots in Progress" /y /c i'm guessing /l is log off, /r is reboot, and /t is a timed reboot... but i tried this exact line of code in my dos prompt and it doesn't work My Code: Shutdown -r this restarts my computer. is that top code server stuff only? any help is greatly appreciated thanks |
