| If only you knew... | cache [noun] (\'kash\): 1 a: a hiding place especially for concealing and preserving provisions or implements b: a secure place of storage 2: something hidden or stored in a cache 3: a computer memory with very short access time used for storage of frequently or recently used instructions or data 4: a punishment delt out to a webmaster for his/her need to constantly page-view their work as they are changing their website's page(s), whereby they must go through the difficult process of cleaning up their computer's temporary internet file sytem and DNS just to view their completed work, while the rest of the internet community can view the page(s) in question without doing any more than typing the URL into their browser. This is commonly referred to as "webmaster cache", and is a built-in function of browsers that browser software manufacturers use to get revenge on webmasters (see definitions of Bill Gates and Satan). |
