Gmail hacks!

Hey there guys. just wondering if anyone has any good Gmail hacks, or if there are any, lol. Post anything about Gmail dev, here. I cant wait til they do pop3, and if they dont, well, ill have to search somewhere else, lol.

ya. I was just thiknking, you could run a file server, lol, with 1 gig. set up some rules, but i dont think you can make rules yet , which stinks.

I doubt that's possible. There's too many randomly generated characters.

Hacks are modifications, don't confuse the word "hacks" with the word "hacking".

how do you get invites anywhoo? ive only ever gotten the one, and i sent it to myself and got an email address with a type wrong

i was after a 2word nic@ gmail.com and another with the same words but a . inbetween but i typed it wrong :'(

But aren't the emails that sent the invites (which include the invite links) then found in your GMail sent folder? That way you can still use the links, even though you had sent the mails to the wrong address.

What is pop3? I have AIM and I always tried to setup my yahoo or hotmail email on it, but I cant never find the pop3 addresses for yahoo or hotmail, anyone know them/

pop3 lets you read your emails without going on the hotmail/yahoo etc website. outlook explorer does just this. in yahoo you can enable pop3 my going to the options. the servers are 1. pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk 2. smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk

i cant remember correctly but i think you add email account(yahhoo/hotmail) in outlook>>>tools>email accounts.

no need to hack for invites, you can either get them free from a friend (like me) or when you receive emails from people without accounts you can invite them...
