How to turn asp on?


Anyone know how to turn asp on in windows xp pro?

Basically all you need to do is install IIS. You can look in your add/remove components to see if it's already installed. If it's not you can load your xp cd and install it.

After it's intstalled you should be able to throw your asp files in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot and then call up http://localhost/youraspfile.asp

I have both PHP and ASP enabled on my comp I suggest you do the same!

Oh shoot, i should do that too. I will do it right now.

Sweet I installed it, thanks for the advice, even though it wasn't directed at me. Heh, when I wanted to test php in the past I would just upload it.
