To edit a PHP file you need a text based editor, such as NotePad or Wordpad. However my advice is you use a program called Notepad 2. You can download it here: http://www.danltn.co.uk/notepad2.zip

unless you have a lot of time on your hands, i would suggest that you pay someone to do this for you. depending on your template and host, teaching you to install your site etc could be very time consuming.

or you could try using frontpage again, but this time have a design in mind, and use better colours.

Save The Children
If you say you have the template and it is ready to be installed you need ftp access to a host which allows php. Then just upload all of the files you have to the server.

Thier is probably a readme file with the template and that should say which file to change to your sites settings, It is probably called config.php and in their there should be a varible for you to insert you adsense id.

It really depends on the template and if it is all ready to go or if you need to change thing other then adsense ID
