Help Needed

Hello,
I'm developing a friendfinder website.In the main page there is an option to select the country.I just want to change the location option and want to make it listing the states of a country instead of the different countries which are currently listing there.

This would be best asked at the dolphin community.. I've never used the software so don't know the file structure
