How to make a proxy

hi. im new to HTML and making websites and i was wondering if there is anyway to make a proxy site using HTML and HTML only. not having to download any software or anything. just a code to copy and paste into the site. not sure if its possible / legal. thanks for the help in advance

No, with only HTML its impossible to make any funcionality remotely close to a proxy server.

You could, but that wouldn't be a proxy.

the idea is to host it on your server and let your domain enjoy the activity and the pr increases

if you do it like frame it's remotely hosted if the owner of the site noticed it, he/she will just put javascript on his front page and out your site go.

I reccomend the bottom one weblord said, i use it on my proxy and it works great. It's really customizable... although really i need to make an addon that adds a cache to it

Proxys can be bandwidth killers

And yes they are legal... so don't be put off by systems admins who have a go at you for using one, they tried to tell me it was illegal to run a proxy... and i was like.. no its not, he must have thought i was stupid
