![]() | Just a heads up with FC4 The current model for supporting maintenance distributions is being re-examined. In the meantime, we are unable to extend support to older Fedora Core releases as we had planned. As of now, Fedora Core 4 and earlier distributions are no longer being maintained. http://www.fedoralegacy.org/ |

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=278676 well what he was getting at is - that the version of Fedora core your using is no longer supported - which while mean slowly but surely as problems are found in the programs, your either going to have to update them by hand, or leave them there. you should realy try fc6 if you can over fc4.

![]() | I didn't have to comment about you using an OS that will no longer provide security patches and fixes, but i did anyways ... I couldn't care less if it blows up in your face to be honest. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | are you missing the point or what? this is a dedicated server sitting on a private ISP.. right now it's FC4 if there's big loopholes I'm sure they'll update to fc6 but in the mean time I got some stuff to do ![]() thanks for your concern and updating me but again you could have used PM for that.. this thread has a different purpose |
