Question Help with DNS setting.


Good day everyonr,

I have just finished installing/testing my website in a subdomain (i.e. subdomain.domainname.com). now i want my "domainname.com" to point to this subdomain.
I would appreciate if someone can tell me how to do so.
for your information i am using cpanel with a linux box.
Thanks in advance.

Where is your domain registered? Some registrars (like enom) have a control panel that let you do this easily if you use their nameservers.

you can get your host to add the domain to your account or you might be able to do it via the parked domain page in cpanel

you will need to contact your host inforder to do this so you can point the domain to the host..you need there name servers
