mobile phones and http compression


I'm almost finished developing my first .mobi site and I was wondering if mobile phones support http compression (mod_gzip)? Or maybe they use a different compression method.

I'll do that but even if the page shows up I wouldn't know how to test if it has any effect. Anyways, just wondering.
