HTML: Help with transparent background

The homepage on the following link shows with a white background in Firefox, but in Explorer almost all the white gets transparent. What should i do to get it to work with explorer (and netscape)?

Pandas is on a distinguished road

Try using this code

Code:
filter:alpha(opacity=95);
		-moz-opacity: 0.95;
		opacity: 0.95;
and changing the values to suit your transparency.
