Best AJAX framework (php)?

Hi,

im wanting to add AJAX to a news script i have created, i know next to nothing about ajax so i need a simple, yet effective framework...

any specific framework to use?

If you want AJAX based animation and effects, I suggest having a look at moofx. It is small in size and super easy to use.

If you want to manipulate content with AJAX, dojoToolkit and OpenRico have a good reputation.

I have played around with mybic/ and it seems very good.
