![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just a note... Im quite a forum junkie and spend most of my time on them, be it coding, modifications, skinning, managing, whatever! People are thinking that phpbb3 (Olympus) is going to "Give vBulletin and Invision an run for their money" - No, is the simple answer. Im sure people would like it to happen but with phpBB's current team its very unlikely that it will happen...it is a very good forum system, but as long as its free its insecure

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Is that offline/online I see? As well as the warnings/reports, subforums, friends/foes and custom profile fields. Looks like they're really doing a great job. That's a lot of mods that are no longer needed. It's gonna suck for everyone upgrading when they eventually release. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | phpBB3 I'm currently testing it out. There are some language and general bugs and security holes, but the phpBB development team has done a great job developing phpBB3 Olympus. Hope they keep up the good work. Regards. |

![]() | Hopefully eventually there will be a way to port 2.x mods to 3.x. The forum I run has 58 modifications installed... agh/

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=208458 Wow... that's more than triple the number of mods on the most heavily modified forum we've ever had in production...It will be a challenging upgrade indeed... I presume all 58 of those are not essential to the board itself running? I wonder if PHPbb has a built-in mod management system... Rob
