If you could have anything modified or upgraded (as far as software) on any of your digital devices (Cell phone, Mp3 Player, digital camera, PDA, GPS system, Etc...) what would you do?
There are a lot of things that I would get upgraded... For example I would have someone develop me a product to be able to change the channels on my TV from my cell phone. Also, I would maybe ask for a product to be developed to enable me to call a number on my cell phone and have the latest bus-schedule for the city I am in download to my phone. Then I could find out at anytime in the day what bus to take from where I am at.
Anyway... what would you do? I am sure there are some very innovative ideas out there.
I'd integrate wireless connectivity into my iPod so I people can swap songs to each other like people do with other stuff on Bluetooth. Oh, and throw in voice recognition for selecting what tracks to play.
And I dont really know why...but i'd like to be able to phone my curtains and tell them to pull themselves shut.
But I dont know why programmers would be more innovative thinkers for this stuff than anyone else. Perhaps this is best suited to the break room?
I really don't know.. Maybe if it was easyer to make items like the iPod than there would be too many programmers.. but I would have an entire series of robots to make more robots so I can rule the world.. MUHAHAHAHA!
hmm, i'd have a usb port on my pda so i coudl connect it to printers, scanners, pend drives etc.
and for every piece of hardware that needs drivers i would have a bit of memory that stored the required drivers, so that when it is plugged in the drivers would be found on that device, and everything truly would be plug and play, also i'd like to be able to take advantage of wifi internet and voip on my phone
I'd want my ipod to be wireless...so I could broadcast what I was listening to, and if anyone else heard it, they could pul up a grab command on their ipod and grab the song wirelessly. Be a great way to experience new music.
wow, what a great idea, and imagine what that could expand to, all your podcasts updating automatically whenever you are in range of a wireless signal, the ability to buy songs from itunes direct from your ipod, sync it wirelessly, the possibilities are endless!
